TOUCHLINEUI:CRISTIANO RONALDO;THE BREAKDOWN OF HIS 251 GOALS

Two time Ballon d’Or Winner,  Cristiano Ronaldo  net a brace in last week’s Champions League semi-final drubbing of Bayern Munchen to reach a quarter of a thousand goals for Real Madrid. The double against the title-holders took Him to 16 goals in this season’s Champions League in just 10 games (a UCL record for goals scored by a player in a season).

On Sunday, in a Primera League game against the Los Che, Real Madrid surprisingly fell 1-2 to Valencia and looked to be heading to a shock defeat until Ronaldo intervened with a superb mule kick to rescue a point for the Whites and keep them in the La Liga title race.

    1. Thank You Very Much Kizito. It won’t come easy especially with Portugal in a group that has the likes of Germany,USA and Ghana. If they navigate their way out and maybe avoid Belgium in the next round(not that Portugal can’t beat them) and get one of the likes of Algeria,South Korea or Russia(that would be tricky),then who knows?

  2. Insightful write-up. Ronaldo has proved himself to be in a class of his own. Reading this stat, it’s as if I’m playing Football Manager.
    Kudos!
