The 2013/14 English Premier League has certainly been one of drama, suspense and intrigue from the Title race which was decided on the last day of the season to the relegation dogfight. BIGGEST AWAY WIN: Liverpool’s 5-0 win at the White Hart Lane on the 15th of December, 2013 is the biggest away victory of the 2013/14 season. Spurs heavy loss to the Reds spelt doom for André Villas Boas who was subsequently relieved of his duties.

  • HIGHEST GOAL SCORING GAME(9 Goals): Manchester City’s 6-3 win over Arsenal and Liverpool’s 6-3 win over Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium are the Highest Goal-Scoring Games in the just concluded English Premier League.
  • LONGEST WINNING STREAK: This honour falls to Brendan Rodgers Liverpool Side who went on an 11 game winning run which included wins over the Manchester teams, Tottenham and Arsenal. That run was however snapped in a ruthless by Chelsea who recorded a deserved 2-0 win at Anfield.

  • LONGEST WINLESS RUN: Fulham, Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion take this unfortunate award as the trio at one point of the season went on a 9 game winless run.
  • LONGEST LOSING RUN: That honour goes to Crystal Palace who lost 7 straight times.

  • Luis Suarez hit the League’s first hat-trick in Liverpool 4-1 home win over West Brom on the 26th of October, 2013.

The Uruguay International hit Four, an obligatory one to be fair in Liverpool’s 5-1 whitewash of Norwich City at Anfield on the 4th of December last year.

  • On the 11th of January at the Stadium of Light, Former City Player, Adam Johnson hit the treble in Sunderland’s 4-1 win over Fulham.
  • Samuel Eto’o hit his first treble in a Chelsea Shirt when the Blues hit Manchester United side by 3 goals to 1 on the 19th of January this year. The first of three Chelsea Players to find the back of the net three times this season.

Eden Hazard also hit his first treble for Chelsea in the Blues 3-0 routine home win over Alan Pardew Newcastle’s side on the 8th of February.

On the 1st of March, in a London Derby at Craven Cottage, André Schurrle hit a second half hat trick against Fulham (his first for the Club) as the Blues ran out 3-1 winners.

  • Fulham were once again, on the 22nd of March, recipients of a Player hitting the treble against them. This time around, it was the African Player of the Year; Yaya Toure. He hit the treble in Man City’s home rout of the Cottagers.
  • The last but definitely not the least is once again, Luis Suarez. The latest victim of his treble feast afternoon was Welsh Side, Cardiff. The 27 year hit three in Liverpool’s 6-3 win at Cardiff
